    Fix release after the first real-canary test (mc-crea263, Paper 26.3-pre-2, 19 plugins, survival world). Changes vs v5.12.0-ekaii-26.3-pre2: (1) commands packet: the five 26.3-only argument types mapped to brigadier:string now get their string-type property, fixing the client-side ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException on the command tree; (2) decorated_pot block entity sherds converted from the 26.3 side map to the 26.2 item id list. Requires ViaVersion v5.12.0-ekaii-26.3-pre2.1 (unchanged code, same tag). Tested locally with 13 plugins and block entities, then on the canary: 26.2 client joined and stayed 2 minutes without decoder errors. Details: ekaii-263/notes/via-263-impl.md

    ViaBackwards 5.12.0-SNAPSHOT + Protocol26_3To26_2: lets a Minecraft 26.2 client (protocol 776) join a Paper 26.3-pre-2 server (snapshot protocol 1073742158). Requires the ViaVersion jar of the same tag from exo/viaversion-ekaii in plugins/ as well. Tested locally on 2026-09-06: a 26.2 Fabric client (Litematica, malilib, Axiom 6.0.5, sodium, iris, carpet) joined Paper 26.3-pre-2 and stayed connected while give, summon (cushion, pig, poplar boat, arrow), tp, time set and setblock were run from the console. Not yet covered: partially filtered chat, inline trim materials, creative round trip of the 12 dropped item components, decorated pot block entities, map_color; forward protocol (26.3 client on 26.2 server) untested.
